So the 2013 Uproar Fest Lineup doesn’t come out til May.  But I feel like it’s never too early to begin speculation.  In years past, bands who play most of the Summer festivals seem to find their way onto the Uproar lineup.  So judging by who’s playing Rock on the Range, Rocklahoma, and other fests in May, here’s a list of bands you may see in August.

MOST LIKELY

Alice in Chains- These guys are headlining almost every major festival this summer.  Just like A7X did two years ago and Shinedown did last year.  Both of which ended up headlining Uproar.

Papa Roach- In addition to playing almost every festival, they had to pull out of last years tour due to Jacoby’s vocal chords.  This makes these guys a near lock to be on the lineup this year.

Halestorm- What a year this band has had.  Reminds me of Bullet two years ago and Adelitas Way last year.  Also, they are playing a lot of festivals.

The Chuck Shaffer Picture Show- No rumor here, these guys are a lock to play 2013 by winning 2012′s Battle of the Bands.

VERY LIKELY

Volbeat- A lot of festivals and a lot of popularity here in the states for the Danish band.

All That Remains- Their latest album “A War You Cannot Win” is cleaning house and they are playing almost every major festival in May.

Device- A brand-new band playing a lot of festivals and lead by Disturbed’s David Draimen.  Side stage headliner?

Young Guns- British bands have garnered a lot of popularity from the Uproar Tour in years past, just think of Bullet.
